Blog #8: End of Writing 1

     Today's blog is the last blog in this semester. Let me tell you about my study of English.
     My ability of English was improved than before by writing class, I feel. There are some reason why I think.
     In this class, I wrote a lot of sentences in English. In particular, ten munites writing is very useful way to develop my writing skill. When I tried it for the first time, I wrote only about ninety words. But I was able to write over two hundreds in the last trying! I learned to write twice words as mucn as the first time.
     Also, I read a lot of English sentences which was made by class members. I made the sentences examples. That is, I was gave the way to write what I want to in not difficult English. So I got many expression in this semester.
     In this class, I started english blog. When I began it, it was hard for me to write two hundreds words about one theme every week. However, I am able to do it now. Moreover, I acquire the skill to think that I should write the sentence in what order. This improved my presentation skill too.
     So I got some skills which I didn't have before starting writing class. Finishing this class, I learned to write better English.

     I think that I left some challenges in this semester. In this semester, I tried a lot of thing using English in this one year. I debated, wrote blog, held a presentation, and so on. But I didn't get stisfied with my work. No doubt I did my work, but my work is not interesting. I have watched Steve Jobs's presentation on interenet before. It was excellent and I was impressed. His presentation is very attractive. I want to be able to do presentation like him. Next semester, I will see, read, and listen good English. I will see good presentaion, read interesting books, and listen great speeches. I will do good work next semeter than this semeter.

Blog # 7: Spring Vacation

     Do you make a spring vacation plan? I have some idea what I want to do in vacation. I want to use this much time effectively.
     In spring vacation, I'll participate in club activity. We can't go sailing in winter season because it is too strong wind for us to go sailing. We start to practice again, and prepare for welcoming new students. Also, I must improve my abilities to do sailing, to teach, and so on, and I'll get a senior club member.
     I'll do not club activity, but also other activity. I'm considering about working part-time jobs in spring vacation. Last year, I made little money. Now I have no money. However, I have a lot of things to get. So I want to work when I have enough time.
     Finally, I'll think about my future. In particular, I'll know what to do and to need, so that I'll do what I want in the future. Next semester, I'll go up next grade, and I have to study more specialized subjects. When, I must study with more clear vision about my future. So I' m planning to collect a lot of information by reading and news, and go out to many places to see.
     I think that spring vacation give me good chances to challenge new things and to improve myself.
If I carry out what I plan to do, I'll spend next semester in a meaningful way.

Blog # 6:FREE TOPIC!

     Hello! Today, I want to talk about my new habit.

     On a new year's day, I decided to start a new thing. It is writing diary. I made it rule to write diary every night.So now I am keeping the rule. Why did I start it? I have some reasons for it.

     When I was given the present for being 20 years old by my parents, I thought about writing diary for the first time. The presents is Fountain pen. I got very happy to get it. However, I didn't have a lot of chances to use it becouse when I write documents, I use a computer, and I rarely write letters. So I hit on a thouht that I use it for writing diary.
     Reading my diary, I can remember the past day. What happened and I though and felt... I regret that I didn't leave the memory of last year on record. I did many many things last year. But I didn't take a lot of photos and write on anythings. This year, I want to leave the memory on the record.
    I have been writing every day since I started it. (To tell the turth, I forgot writing on only the new year's day. But I didn't exactly start on the day.) My mother have been writing diary for about 20 years since she was elementary school student! I want to keep it like her. I am looking forward to reading my diary in the future.

Blog # 5: If I could have dinner with one person...

If you could, who do you want to meet in the world?
If I could have dinner with one person, I would have dinner with Emma Watoson.

Do you know her? She is the very famous actress in the world who played Hermione in the movie of Harry Potter. I like Harry Potter series. I am a fan of the movies and her. I think that she plays a role very well and she is the most beautiful actress in the world. However the reason why I like her is not only that she is wonderful actress, but also that she takes an active part in the various field.

 

For example, she goes to Brown university as she works as an actress. When she was playing Hermione, she studied for examination and passed, and enter the university! She is an industrious person. I respect her.

 

Additionally, she takes a great interest in the world poverty. She tried to spread fair trade. She built her brand in collaboration with fair trade clothing company.

 

If I could have a dinner with her, I would ask some questions. Why can she do a lot of things? What is her dream or aim in the future? And I want to get her sign!!

 

I want to be a person who has a wide view of tings. 

Blog# 4:Special Winter Vacation

Happy new year!!
What did you do on the first day of a new year?

Last year, I would watch the first rising sun of a new year, but I got up late! So I ccould not and I decide to watch it next year!

After I got up, I said“Akemashiteomedetogozaimasu”, which means a happy new year, to every member of my family.
My father gave me and my young sister otoshidama. Otoshidama is Japanese costom.
It is the presents for children or younger people in new year season. Then we ate osechi, which is season cuisine.
I was received nengajo, Japanese new year card, from my friends. Japanese people send them to their relative, friends, and so on, and to share the pleasure for a new year. I like reading them, becaurse my friends made very interesting cards. I was happy to be given them. Of couese I also wrote nengajo to some friends.

 
Today, I went to hatsumode with my friend, which is visiting to shrine or temple in the new year season. I went to Kitanotenmangu where is the shrine enshrnes the god of academic achievement . I visited there for tow reasons. First reason, I pray my great grade. Second reason, I buy a omamori for my younger friend.

There were a lot of people visiting the shrine to pray. I prayed about my test grade and wrote my hope on ema.

And I consulted an oracle. Oracle is a trial of  fortune. First, I choose and pull only one of the stick in a box. A number is written on the stick. Second, I am given the same number paper. The pappaper show me my fortune of this year. I got daikichi. It is best resresult and means that I can have a good time in this year!

This is my special winter vacation. And Japanese culture in new year season.
Now a new year just started. I will make effort in every aspect. Thank you for reading.

Blog # 3: My favorite place

Hallo. How are you？
Now I am very sleepy because I was awake midnight to finish my essay.

Today I talk about the place.I have a favorite place.
It is the classroom at the high school where I went.  There are two reasons why I like the place.

First reason,when I was a high school student, I spent much time doing a lot of things there. Playing, talking with my friends, studying and so on … Entering there, I can remember my important memories. They are not only happy memories but also hard memories. However, I think all memories made me what I am.

Second reason, the place often gave me special view. The  high school which I went to is located in Mt.Rokko(near Kobe university). There is a high place. So If you go there, you can see beautiful scenery, beautiful ocean and cityscape.Especially in the night, you can see the most beautiful view you have never seen. But I did not take pictures in the night. I can not show you night view. I can show you my best shot in day.

It is my favorite photo which I took in the memorial classroom. Beautiful scenery and big rainbow! It was very very beautiful.

Blog # 2: If I had ¥100,000,000…

¥100,000,000 is large sum of money which I can't image!! If you had ¥100,000,000, what would you do?

If I had, I would realize somethings which I have wanted but couldn't do because I have enough money.

First, I'd start living alone independenting from my parents. I look for a favorite apartment near the campus. I want to have a party with friends at my room.

Second, I purchase a new car. My family don't have any car. So If l have my car, my life changes completely, and my car makes my life interesting.  I can enjoy driving every weekends, and in a long vacation, I have a trip by my driving.

Now I remembered a very important thing that I don't have a license!
What I really need to do first If I had is getting a driving license.

When I come true even all of my hopes, there will be a lot of money I don't use. If I suddenly was given much money, I probably couldn't use up money, because I am actually poor.

My last idea is that I contribute the rest of money to the club I belong to. The club needs to purchase some new yachts. I am a good club member!
